A day without Jojo.

It is horrendous.
I swear I still see his black, plump figure laying there on the floor next to Gigi.

Walking through the door is hard knowing that he won't be there to greet me, wagging his tail, wanting me to pet him.

It seems like suddenly everything I do... I can relate it back to Jojo and I become horribly depressed.

Last night...I cleared all thoughts...I was exhausted and I was ready for sleep. I lied down, closed my eyes...and all I saw was Jojo.

He was such a big part of my life.

I've lost pets before..."Been there, done that. It never gets any easier."

And it sucks.

Yeah.

Today, my good ol' pal Jojo was put to sleep.
Very hard day for me...all of us.

What was the worst...was seeing him get all excited just to go to the vet. He always loved it there. He loved car rides...he loved getting attention from others. And everyone loved him in return. He was definitely a man's best friend.

I went through as many photo albums as I could to find some random ones of us together and of just him...or him with other people. It's in chronological order.
The first one dates back to...I'd say...2006 maybe. [We got him in 2000, I believe, but my dad has those photos....not me.] The last few are from our last day/night with him.
Enjoy.

So.

It's finally the weekend..what I've been waiting for.

But my doggy has to be put to sleep tomorrow. This is so depressing. I've cried myself to sleep several times over this.
I've had him since the 4th grade and he's been such a kind, dear friend to me.

When we found out he had cancer, we were told he'd only have one month to live. That was almost two months ago...so we've been blessed with a few extra weeks.
But now it has gotten to the point where he can't even walk on his own. It's so hard to believe that what used to be my cute, cuddly viking of a puppy is now older and [though this sounds depressing], slowly withering away.

He's so skinny. And his leg [where the cancer is located] is double the size of his other legs.

I've been so blessed to even have had him as a dog.
I've taken many pictures with him.

I'll never forget us playing soccer together...he made an amazing goalie.
Here's some pictures of us.

I love him.

P.S. - he loves Slim Jims just like me. :]
